Happy Easter

The kids were really into Easter this year. Well, I should say they were really into finding easter eggs this year, and that is not what Easter is really all about. On Saturday we went to 4 egg hunts. They loaded up. We wen to a hunt with my brother Adam and his family, then we went to our park for a hunt. Then we had a party with Jeremys cousins on his moms side. Then we ended up at Grandma P's house for another egg hunt. Wow, what a day. That night at Grandma P's house the Easter Bunny left their bikes for them early. It was raining but that did not stop them. They were out in the rain riding up and down the drive way. Tucker did really well for not ever riding before.

Jeremy had to talk him through it a couple of times, but he eventually got the hang of it.

Easter morning, checking to see if the Easter Bunny came, again.

I love the facial expressions, they were so excited to see what they got.

We also had our annual egg hunt with Jeremy's family. Grandpa P. was at work so he was not able to be with us for the hunt. We missed him. This year we all did a mad dash to find our eggs so we would not get caught in the rain. We didn't make it, it started raining on us. It was still fun.

Uncle Casey and Tucker take a break from hunting for eggs.

Once Tucker found his bubbles he was done with finding eggs. I ended up finding the rest of his.
Well that was a long post, I am done now, Bye.

Quote for the day

My kids have been saying such random, funny things lately that I am going to try and post them as often as I can.
Todays quote comes from Afton.

"Mom, when I grow up I am going to be a Princess, but I have to finish college first."

Tucker, again

So you know when you go into a store with your kids and you tell them not touch anything becuase it is expensive and you really don't want to have to buy something they might break. Well, I guess I have told that to my kids alot. This morning when I was putting Tuckers socks on I picked up his foot and was looking at his toes, you know doing the motherly thing to see if he needs his toe nails clipped or to see if he is clean enough for the day. Anyway, I was inspecting his big toe and he pulled it away from me and told me I can't touch him because he is expensive.

Where do they get it from?

The kids were playing the other day and this is what they came up with to wear. I had to ask, where do they get there style from? I don't think it comes from me.

Tucker turns 3

HAPPY 3rd BIRTHDAY TUCKER

Tucker turned 3 on March 28th. So I am way late posting about Tuckers Birthday. Better late then never, right? We asked Tucker if he wanted to go bowling or have a piniata. He chose the piniata. Since we don't have a garage we invited ourselves to my parents house, thanks Mom and Dad for the use of your garage, we also invited all the cousins. They had so much fun. I love the look on Aftons face when she gathered some loot.

The next day we celebrated with Jeremy's family.

Tucker

The following is a conversation Tucker and I had this morning. Tucker was sitting on the couch with his hands inbetween the couch cushions.

Me: Tucker, what are you doing?
Tucker: Looking for my booger.
Me. Why is your booger in the couch?
Tucker: Becuase I put it there.

I guess we can add that to the list of things you might find in your couch. Not to worry, the said booger has been successfully retrieved and properly disposed of.
